Details:

• Xanthan Gum(XC Polymer) is a low-solids, cost-

effective viscosifier widely used in oil drilling, completion and workover fluids. It builds

viscosity in all water base systems.

• Drilling fluids contained Xanthan Gum remain nearly constant viscosity from below

freezing to 270°F (130°C)static bottom hole temperature, in a pH range from 5 to 8,

the product is non-toxic as well as biodegradable.

• Its excellent and effective shearthinning behavior help both increase penetration rates

under high shear and provide excellent suspending action for optimum hole cleaning

under low shear while viscosity is regained.
