Silibase-2899 is a polysiloxane polyether copolymer with silicon-carbon bond and non-hydrolytic type, suitable for pentane foam system.

New molecular structure: Silibase-2899 has a unique design of molecular structure, not only has excellent emulsifying ability, nucleating and foam stability ability, but also enables these properties to reach equilibrium

Ultra-low coefficient of heat conductivity: In pentane system, because of unique molecular structure, Silibase-2899 has strong nucleation ability to produce fine cell structure and high closed-cell rate, which allows foam products to have low coefficient of heat conductivity, improving heat insulation.

Super bond strength: Silibase-2899 allows the material to have excellent fluidity in the reaction process, and ensures the foam to have excellent bond strength.

How to use

Use levels of 1.5 to 2.5 parts Silibase-2899 per 100 parts polyols are suggested. The optimum dosage is determined by the particular foam formulation
