Hyaluronidase CAS NO. 9001-54-1 glycoprotein
Hyaluronidase: BP/EP/USP standard Source: mammalian testes Apperence:white powder Pharmaceutical grade
Product Name : Hyaluronidase
CAS No. : 9001-54-1
Source: mammalian testes
EC: 3.2.1.35
DESCRIPTION
Hyaluronidase appearance is white or yellowish-white, amorphous powder, soluble in water, practically insoluble in acetone and in ethanol.
Hyaluronidase is a glycoprotein containing 5% mannose and 2.7% glucosamine. Optimum pH range is 4.5-6.0. The enzyme catalyzes the hydrolysis of endo-N-acetylhexosaminic bonds of hyaluronic acid and chondroitin sulfate A and C (but not B), primarily to tetrasaccharide residues.
Hyaluronidase is extracted from bovine testes or ovine testes, and has been chromatographically purified to remove trace contaminating proteases.
