The Effect of a-zirconium Phosphate in Intumescent Flame Retarded Polypropylene Composites:

Intumescent flame retardant polypropylene(PP)／organophilic a-zirconium phosphate(OZrP)composites are prepared by melt-blending process．TGA reveales that it has an increased charred residue compared with PP／
IFR systerns or pure PP．When the PP matrix contains 25％IFR，the LOI is 33 and UL-94 is V-1 rating．W11an the PP matrix contains 22.5％IFR and 2.5％OZrP，the LOI is 37 and UL-94 is V-0 rating．Combined with the analysis of charred residue of composites。OZrP is found to be a good synergistic agent in the PP／IFR flame retardant systems．

The effect of a-zirconium Phoshate in Halogen-free flame retardant:

Zirconium phosphate used in halogen-free flame retardant is a synergistic flame retardant effect,use hindered amine intercalating modified zirconium phosphate,then add it into your material ,Flame retardant silicone rubber also has good flame retardant properties and mechanical properties and its LOI is 30.5%, vertical combustion performance through the UL - 94 - v - 0 level; The tensile strength of 8.56 MPa, the tear strength of 25.87 kN/m.
