ALUMINATE COUPLING AGENT TREAT FILLERS improve the filling amount of inorganic filler
ACA-K30 is a versatile aluminate coupling agent, it is widely used in plastic, rubber, adhesive, GRP, coating, ink, grease, magnetic materials, waterproof materials, composite flame retardant and so on.
1、To remove the free water, the filler should be Pre-dried in 100-100 ℃, time will be confirmed according to the amount of free water the packing contained. (control packing water 0.3% or less, average time is 2-5 minutes).
2、Put the dry filler to the kneading machine and mix , discharge after 5 to 10 minutes in 100-120 ℃. But should pay attention to the stearic acid, organic alcohols containing carboxyl, hydroxyl component and so on. They Should be put when filler is modified with coupling agent for 3 to 5 minutes (generally in the 1 minute before discharge).
1、Appropriated dosage of ACA-K30 is necessary. Generally for plastic, , add quantity will be0.8 -1.2% of the filler for injection or extrusion molded hard and soft products, for soft foam products or other process molding products, add the proportion of 0.6 to 1.3%. while for carbon black, AlOH3 etc. with high specific surface or high active filler on the surface , the dosage is 1.5 to 2.0%.
2、The product formula should including synergistic agent, such as a small amount of stearic acid. Its quantity is 0.5- 0.8% of the filler.
3、This product should be stored in dry place, far away from water, moisture and fire. Once opened, should be used up in one-time or seal save again as soon as possible. Validity period is about 10 months.
