CHALCO Zhongzhou Aluminum Co., Ltd is a wholly-owned subsidiary of CHALCO which has two alumina production systems: sintering process and bayer process. Alumina production capacity is 2.25 million tons per year, the main products are industrial grade and chemical grade alumina. The technological characteristics of sinter method are the high whiteness and low content of organic matters, such as Fe2O3 ，SiO2. It is quite suitable for chemical alumina production; therefore, chemical alumina production increases fast. At present, the annual output of chemical alumina is 405000 tons; Zhongzhou has five series of dry white, high white, fine white, soluble aluminum hydroxide and poly aluminum chloride. The products are more than 20 varieties, which are widely used in building materials, flame retardant, ceramics, glass, toothpaste, water treatment, petrochemical industry, new type of paper making, aerospace, precision casting and high-quality cosmetics. Its domestic market share is more than 60%, and exports to the United States, Japan, South Korea and other 10 countries and regions.
