The cationic etherifying agent is a kind of application in the field of fine chemical products.Its chemical name is N- (3- chloro -2- hydroxypropyl) N, N, N three methyl ammonium chloride (CTA),molecular formula is C₆H₁₅NOCl₂, formula weight is 188.1,The water solution at room temperature is 69%, and can be converted into the structure of epoxidation immediately under alkaline condition. Product Uses

(1)Papermaking Industry

As an important auxiliary agent, QUAT 188 is widely applied to starch, cellulose, and chitosan chemical modification. The cationic starch, which is etherification modified from raw starch, can be used as the paper's surface sizing agent, retention and filtration aid, enhancer and so on. It is a kind of papermaking additives with great dosage.

(3)Water Treatment Industry

The electronegative suspended solids of water can react with liquid QUAT 188 Cationic Monomer and get cationic macromolecule. As flocculant, it can be widely used in the purification of water

(4)Daily Chemical Industry

The cationic guar gum and other chemicals, which are formed by QUAT 188 modification, are all important daily chemicals.
