Properties Transparent or light-yellow liquid, density is 0.96 g/cm³, boiling point is 204～206℃/30mmHg, n_D²⁰is 1.4390 (refractive index 20℃). Flashing point is 27.8℃. Easily soluble in alcohol, isopuopyl alcohol, toluene etc.. It is easy to flammable, absorb moisture, reacts with water into aluminium hydroxide and sec-butyl alcohol.

Applications It is used for active catalyst and support, inorganic membrane, redrcing agent of aldehyde-ketone, oxidant of aldehyde-ketone, gel forming agent of printing ink and paint, dehydrant, water proofing agent, aluminium base grease, etc..

Storage Store closed containers in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area. Avoid exposure to direct sunlight. It shall be used up after opening the box. Don’t be exposed to atmosphere in long time.
