Glycerine ester of gum rosin Hot Melt Adhesives Glycerol Gum Rosin
- It is easily dissolved in many types of solvents such as petroleum hydrocarbons, aromatics, esters, ketones, gasoline, benzene, acetic ether, acetone, turpentine, and so on.
- It can be used with polymers such as NR, CR, SBR, EVA, SIS, SBS, etc. and low molecular weight polyethylene, paraffin, and microcrystalline waxes.
- It cannot be dissolved in water and in alcohol.
Glycerol Ester of Gum Rosin 85
A pale thermoplastic resin made of gum rosin and glycerol/glycerine. It is perfectly soluble in various types of polymers. It exhibits excellent adhesiveness, as a result of which it is widely used to manufacture various adhesives, and proimarily as a tackifier in hot melt adhesives (HMA). It has a little odor and is light in color.
