As a flocculant, pam (cas 9003-05-8), is mainly used in industrial solid-liquid separation processes, including sedimentation, clarification, concentration and sludge dewatering and other processes; the major application industries are: the treatment of urban sewage and industrial waste water from paper industry, food processing industry, petrochemical industry, metallurgical industry, mineral industry, dyeing industry and the sugar industry.
Anionic PAM is mainly used in minerals selection, metallurgy, coal washing, food, steel, spinning and papermaking industry which involves separation of solid-liquid and waste water treatment. Nonionic polyacrylamide is mainly used as flocculants with high selectivity in oil well fluid,and acidic waste water treatment.
Amphoteric polyacrylamide is mainly used high difficult waste water treatment or sludge dewatering reagents in oil refining and chemical industry or papermaking industry.
