Agliptin (English: Alogliptin), marketed as nisina, is an oral anti-diabetes drug with dipeptide-peptidase-4 (dp-4) inhibitor developed in 2005 by takeda pharmaceutical co., LTD. Like other drugs for type 2 diabetes, aglectin does not increase the risk of heart disease and stroke. Like other statins, agrostatin causes little weight gain and a relatively low risk of hypoglycemia, with moderate hypoglycemic activity.
