ADEKA FP-2200S flame retardant for PP, PE, TPE, TPU, EVA FP-2200S flame retardant
PNPO-G1 is a high-performance eco-friendly halogen-free flame retardant, ROHS complied. PNPO doesn`t contain ammonium polyphosphate (APP).
PNPO can work well with polyolefins, such as PE, PP, TPE, TPU, TPO.
In PP, dosage 20-24% can reach 1.6mm UL94-V0.
In PE, dosage 33-40% can reach 1.6mm UL94-V0.
In TPE, dosage 30-38% can reach 1.6mm UL94-V0.
In polyether TPU, dosage 33-40% can reach 1.6mm UL94-V0.
In polyester TPU, dosage 17-20% can reach 1.6mm UL94-V0.
PNPO, consisting of P-N macromolecules, by nano embedment-dispersion technology, can disperse evenly in transparent plastic materials, thus very little influence to the transparency of products.
PNPO has good compatibility with polyolefin materials, thus very little influence to the mechnical properties of products. No moisture absorption.
Thanks to its high P and N content, PNPO has high flame retarding efficiency. When burning, PNPO can produce an intumescent carbon layer, which can isolate the burning surface from heat and oxygen, thus stopping the fire expanding.
With good thermal stability, low smoke, no toxic--PNPO can perfectly replace its overseas equivalents (such as ADEKA FP-2200S).

Characteristics:

Application range:
TPE, PP (including GF PP), GF PA6, PE, EVA, EEA, EPDM--also widely used in intumescent FR coating, unsaturated PET resin, Epoxy resin.
Formula for reference:
1. in TPE. (SEBS+PP+oil charge 10% system)
PNPO dosage 30-38%, with some processing aids (lubricants, antioxidants), can reach UL94-V0 (1.6mm). Product translucency can be partly maintained.
2. in LDPE/EVA.
PNPO dosage 33%, can reach VW-1 (0.6mm)
3. In PP.
PNPO dosage 20-24%, with some processing aids (lubricants, antioxidants), can reach UL94-V0 (1.6mm).
If 0.2% PTFE is added, PNPO dosage 18-19% can reach UL94-V0 (1.6mm).
Usage tips:
1. 0.1 wt% anti-drip agent is recommended in the production process.
2. Suggested processing temperature range: 170-190℃
Choose the proper screwer and processing temperature, avoiding thermal decomposition of PNPO in production.
3. Inorganic fillers like talc powder or CaCO3 will affect the flame retarding efficiency.
4. PNPO meets with IEC60695-2-13 GWIT850℃(2.0mm)and IEC60695-2-12 GWFI
960℃(2.0mm) request.
Package and Storage:
25kg paper bag with PE liner, or on customer`s request.
Store in dry, well-ventilated place. If exposed to moisture accidentally, dry in 80~110℃
for 2-4 hours, then OK for normal use.
