I. Product Introduction

This product is an upgraded substitute of T561, a traditional thiadiazole derivative. The sulfur content is more than 33%. The metal deactivator TH561 is a yellow-brown transparent liquid prepared by complex oxidation coupling reaction, using thiadiazole and alkanethiol as raw materials and introducing S, N and other anti-wear heteroatoms into the main chain of macromolecule. The product has excellent extreme pressure and abrasion resistance, oxidation resistance, corrosion resistance and the ability to reduce metal activity. Compared with the traditional thiadiazole derivative T561, the modified thiadiazole derivative TH561 has better oil solubility, can form a complete protective film on the copper surface, and has better corrosion inhibition effect on copper. It is widely used in automobile engine oil, gear oil and metal cutting fluid as metal deactivator, in lubricating oil, as extreme pressure and anti-wear agent, can significantly inhibit lubricating oil. The corrosiveness of sulphide produced during use is an excellent antioxidant. It is used as bearing preservative, antiwear agent and metal deactivator in antiwear hydraulic oil, cryogenic hydraulic oil, steam turbine oil and gasoline engine oil.

II. Product Application

This product is widely used in bearing preservatives, anti-wear hydraulic oil, industrial gear oil, extreme pressure agents and oxidation inhibitors and other industrial oils. In the formulation of internal combustion engine oil, it is an important way to improve the oxidation induction period of the oil to solve the problem of poor oxidation resistance of low sulfur and high nitrogen oil products in China. It is used as extreme pressure agent, bacteria and oxidation inhibitor in emulsifier, and as antioxidant in internal combustion engine oil. It is characterized by low dosage and high performance. It is used in oil products to form a protective film by interacting with non-ferrous metal surface. It can effectively prevent the corrosion of metal caused by active sulfur and acidic substances produced by oxidation in additives. At the same time, it also inhibits the catalytic oxidation of metals and metal ions on oil products and makes them lose active particles.
