Applications

1. It is mainly used for the preparation of inorganic chemicals

3. It is also commonly used as an oxidant, bromine generator in laboratory

4. It is used as wool finishing agent in industry, and also for the extraction and

   purification of precious and heavy metals.

5. Used as analytical reagent

6. It mixed with sodium bromide as gold solubilizer.
