Method 1, 

extraction method (China's current method, low purity, but low cost) after the extraction of uterine hormone liquid leaf dry powder 100 g, 30 g quartz powder into the ball mill, adding distilled water, the same method of extraction four times. The amount of distilled water added was 1.4 L twice and 1.3 L twice, respectively. Extraction 45 min each time, centrifuge, collect liquid, residue and then extract. By combining the four extracts, the oxytocin solution is obtained. After leaf dry powder [water, ball mill]→ chromatographic separation of the extracted liquid, 1500 g of pre-treated artificial zeolite is added into 0.25% acetic acid solution of 20 L, and then poured into the exchange column after stirring. When the ethyl acid drops to 2-3 cm above the surface of the zeolite, the extracted liquid is added. White turbid liquid (mainly containing oxytocin, pI 7.7 and vasopressin pI 10.9, which are easily adsorbed as positive ions) was collected at appropriate flow rate. When the extraction liquid level drops to the surface of the zeolite, immediately add distilled water and continue to collect the turbid liquid until it runs out. The pH of the turbid liquid was adjusted to 3.5 with glacial acetic acid, and the liquid was rapidly heated in a water bath to 95℃ for 3min, then quickly cooled and refrigerated overnight.

Use: 

This product can be absorbed from the oral mucosa and selectively act on the smooth muscle of the uterus to promote uterine contraction. Suitable for birth and delayed labor. The effect is the same as a drop of oxytocin. Contraindicated for women with narrow pelvis, a history of uterine surgery (including caesarean section), excessive labor pains, obstructed birth canal, placental abruption, and severe pregnancy poisoning.?
