Superiority:
1. MOPS purity advantage:
Desheng MOPS has a purity of ≥99%, good water solubility, stable process, and can control a constant pH range for a long time.Can provide a full range of product testing and special testing services according to your application needs.
2. MOPS reserves advantages:
Desheng has a professional R&D and production team, specializing in the production of HEPES, with a daily output of 1-2 tons and advanced production technology and equipment.There will be no long supply cycle or out of supply. For customers, we enjoy the advantage of trial equipment.
3. MOPS export advantages:
Desheng is a professional manufacturer of biological buffers. It has strong logistics capabilities and rich export experience. We export.There are more than 100 places in the country, and a long-term cooperation intention has been established.
4. MOPS packaging advantages:
We can pack in quantities according to customer needs. Generally, there are 500g small bottles and 25kg cardboard drums. The big packaging is covered with plastic bags. The white powder is packed in the belt and the tie is tight.
Details:
Buffer solution is usually a solution composed of "weak acid and its conjugate base" or "weak base and its conjugate acid" buffer pair, which can slow down pH changes when a certain amount of other substances are added. 3-(N-morpholino)propanesulfonic acid, MOPS for short, is a biological buffering agent, which plays a very important role in biological experiments. Many people don’t know the specific application and configuration of MOPS, let alone its interaction with other biological buffers. What is the difference between the buffer range of the agent, Desheng will briefly introduce it today.
The MOPS buffer range is between 6.5 and 7.9, which is suitable for electron transfer and phosphorylation studies of chloroplast thin-layer preparation; it can be formulated into a variety of agar media and used in minimal media as a non-toxic buffer for Streptomyces clavuligerus Cultivation and production of cephalosporins; it can be used as a component of the electrolyte system of two-dimensional gel electrophoresis and isoelectric focusing (IEF); it can also be used in Northern hybridization as a buffer for RNA separation and membrane transfer. The comparison between MOPS buffer range and other common buffers is shown in the following table:
Buffer pKa/25°C Buffer range
MOPS 7.2 6.5-7.9
Tris 8.1 7.0-9.1
Bicine 8.3 7.6-9.0
TAPS 8.4 7.7-9.1
MOPSO 6.9 6.2-7.6
BES 7.1 6.4-7.8
HEPES 7.5 6.8-8.2
CAPS 10.4 9.7-11.1
The buffer range of several common buffers
The following describes the commonly used 10×MOPS Buffer preparation method, as shown below
1. Weigh 41.8g MOPS and place it in a 1L beaker;
2. Add about 700mL DEPC treated water, stir to dissolve;
3. Use 2N NaOH to adjust the pH to 7.0;
4. Add the following reagents to the solution: 20mL 1M NaOAc (DEPC treatment), 20mL 0.5M EDTA (pH 8.0) (DEPC treatment)
5. Use DEPC treated water to dilute the solution to 1L;
6. Filter to remove impurities with 0.45μm filter membrane;
7. Store at room temperature and avoid light.
Desheng MOPS outer packaging
The purity of MOPS produced by Desheng is greater than 99%, the water solubility is good, and the production process is stable. However, you should also pay attention to it in use. If the amount of use each time is small, you can use it after appropriate packaging. The buffer will easily change when exposed to light. Yellow and light yellow can be used completely, but it is not suitable to use after the color is too dark. Attention should be paid during use. For safety and health, please wear laboratory clothes and disposable gloves. If you accidentally contact your eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical attention.
