Ethylhexyl Triazone is a highly effective UV-B filter with an exceptionally high absorptivity of over 1,500 at 314 nm. Because of its high A1/1 value, only small concentrations are required in cosmetic suncare preparations, to achieve a high SPF value. Concentrations up to 3% are recommended. Besides the polar nature of this product gives it good affinity to the keratin in the skin, so that formulations in which it is used are particularly water-resistant.

Function

1.UVT150 is a polar oil-based ultraviolet absorber effective for UVB (275-320nm) band
2.At 314nm, the extinction value of UVT150 is as high as over 1500, which has the advantages of high absorptivity and low dosage. Usually only a very small dose (recommended dose 3%) is required in sun care products to achieve a high SPF value
3.UVT150 is insoluble in water and has good affinity with skin keratin, and has good waterproof effect in sun care products
4.This product has good light stability. Under strong light radiation conditions, the product characteristics will not change.
5.UVT150 is usually added by hot melt
-Heat the medium to 70-80 degrees Celsius, slowly add this product to the fast-stirring oily system.
