Taxifolin is a dihydroflavonol compound, belonging to the vitamin P group, which is a widely used biological active agent. Like other flavonoids, dihydroquercetin has a variety of biological activities in human body, including antioxidant, free radical scavenging, antiviral, anti-inflammatory, vasodilator and antibacterial effects.
