2 '-deoxyadenosine, also known as 2' -deoxyadenosine (β-D-2 '-deoxyadenosine), is a natural deoxyribonucleoside, which is a structural fragment of DNA of deoxyribonucleic acid. Like other natural nucleosides, it is involved in the transmission of genetic information in almost all biological cells. It affects protein synthesis and polysaccharide metabolism, and plays a very important role in regulating the growth, proliferation, differentiation and inhibition of cells in vivo. It is not only an important raw material for genetic drugs and genetic engineering research, but also has a good physiological activity. 2 '-deoxyadenosine can inhibit insulin release induced by sugar and reduce the effect of specific phosphodilipase inhibitors or adenylyl cyclase activators in promoting insulin secretion.
