Propylene glycol alginate has emulsification, thickening, swelling, acid resistance and stability. Especially in acidic products, with other additives can not replace the application effect. It can be used in cold drinks alone or in combination with other emulsifiers and stabilizers. The general dosage is 0.1% ~ 0.3%.

In addition to colloid properties, propylene glycol alginate ester (PGA) has a propylene glycol group in the molecule, so it is lipophilic, emulsifying stability is good, often used in lactic acid drinks, fruit juice milk drinks and other low pH range of food. PGA is the most suitable stabilizer in active milk and lactic acid bacteria beverage. The general dosage of PGA in active milk is 0.1% ~ 0.3%.
