Deoxyacetic acid is a broad-spectrum feed preservative that can inhibit the growth of molds, yeasts and bacteria. The bacteriostatic effect is not affected by PH, but the antiseptic effect is the best under neutral condition. Also used as a food preservative, domestic regulations can be used for the preservation of beancurd, pickles and orange sauce, the maximum use of 0.3g/kg.
