Ascorbyl Glucoside also known as AA2G, scientific name 2-O-a-D-Glucopyranosyl-L-ascorbicacid, abbreviated as AA2G, is a derivative of VC, the relative molecular weight of 338.27, melting point of 158 ~ 163ºC. Because VC has poor stability, easy to be oxidized and other shortcomings, so the alternative product of VC derived Ascorbyl Glucoside, which can replace VC as acid agent, reducing agent, antioxidant, bleaching agent and stabilizer, widely used in cosmetics, food and medicine and other fields.
