Hydroxypropyl starch ether is a white powder obtained from natural plants after modification, highly etherification reaction, and then spray drying, without plasticizers. It is completely different from ordinary starch or modified starch. Hydroxypropyl starch ether combined with hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose ether can play a role in thickening, lubricating, improving construction, promoting internal structure, with better crack resistance, improve workability. The addition of hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose can be significantly reduced by adding hydroxypropyl starch ether.

Application characteristics of hydroxypropyl starch ether:

● Can be used with methyl cellulose (MC) or hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose (HPMC) to reduce the use of cellulose ether;
