Myrrh extract is a resin extract from the bark wounds of olive plants such as Myrrh and Erenberg Myrrh. The main components are gum, resin and volatile oil. It has the effect of removing blood stasis, reducing swelling and relieving pain. It is widely used in spices, cosmetics, food, drugs and health products.

 

Myrrh oil is an essential oil, colorless to yellow viscous liquid, with a balm smell like burnt wood. Insoluble in water, soluble in alcohol, ether. After treatment with bromine gas, it is cloudy, red and purple velvet precipitates. The main ingredients are dill aldehyde, m-cresol, eugenol, cinnamic aldehyde, pinine, Ramie, sesquiterpene, palmitic acid and so on.
