Application
Buserelin can increase the secretion of luteinizing hormone (LH), follicle stimulating hormone (FSH) and sex hormones. Its effect on promoting the release of LH and FSH is 19 times and 26 times that of natural gonadotropin-releasing hormone, respectively. Long-term use causes pituitary function to be downregulated, resulting in reduced secretion of LH and FSH.
Buserelin is a GnRH analog. In the initial stage of use, it can increase the secretion of IH, FSH and sex hormones, and after 1 to 2 weeks, it begins to have the opposite effect, and the secretion of sex hormones can be reduced to castration levels.
