Grape seeds generally account for about 3% to 7% of the total weight of grapes, as a by-product of the wine industry, it is a high-quality edible oil resources. The oil content of grape seeds is 10% to 20%, and the proportion of linoleic acid in grape seed oil of most varieties reaches more than 70% of the total fatty acids, and some reach 81%, and few varieties are less than 60%. Grapeseed oil is a high-purity oil extracted and refined from natural grapeseed, which is rich in unsaturated fatty acids, mainly oleic acid and linoleic acid, of which the content of linoleic acid is as high as 58% ~ 78%. Linoleic acid is an essential fatty acid, which is easy to be absorbed by human body. Long-term consumption of grapeseed oil can reduce serum cholesterol and effectively regulate autonomic nerve function. Grapeseed oil is rich in vitamin E and has strong antioxidant properties, which can effectively extend the shelf life of goods and is not easy to cause oxidative rancidity caused by light, thermal radiation and contact with air.
