ThioureaChina ChinaThiourea beta-Thiopseudourea
Thiourea is an organic sulfur-containing compound with the chemical formula CH4N2S. It is a white and shiny crystal with a bitter taste, a density of 1.41g/cm³, and a melting point of 176-178°C. It is used as a raw material for the manufacture of drugs, dyes, resins, compression molding powders, etc. It is also used as a vulcanization accelerator for rubber and a flotation agent for metal minerals. It is made by reacting hydrogen sulfide with lime slurry to form calcium hydrosulfide, which is then reacted with calcium cyanamide. It can also be prepared by melting ammonium thiocyanate or reacting cyanamide with hydrogen sulfide.
Appearance: White shiny crystalMelting point176~178℃It can also be used as a raw material for dyes and dyeing auxiliaries, resins and compression powders, as a vulcanization accelerator for rubber, a flotation agent for metal minerals, a catalyst for the preparation of phthalic anhydride and fumaric acid, and as a metal anti-corrosion agent. In terms of photographic materials, it can be used as a developer and toner, and can also be used in the electroplating industry. Thiourea is also used in many aspects such as diazo-sensitive paper, synthetic resin coatings, anion exchange resins, germination promoters, fungicides, etc. Thiourea is also used as a fertilizer. It is used as a raw material for the manufacture of drugs, dyes, resins, compression powders, vulcanization accelerators for rubber, flotation agents for metal minerals, etc.
