Phenyl organosilicon products are a class of products in which some or all methyl groups in the molecular structure are replaced by phenyl groups, and are a class of organosilicon products with special properties and uses, with more excellent high and low temperature resistance, radiation resistance, ultraviolet resistance, aging resistance, high refractive index and other characteristics. Phenyl silicone products can be divided into phenyl silicone monomer and phenyl polysiloxane according to the molecular structure, phenyl monomer is mainly phenyl chlorosilane, that is, methyl chlorosilane as raw material, through the Grillard method, heat shrinkage method, redistribution method, silohydroaddition method, direct synthesis method and other processes containing phenyl chlorosilane. Phenylchlorosilane is easily hydrolyzed and condensed to release hydrogen chloride, which is generally used as a raw material for the preparation of phenylpolysiloxane and will not be used directly. Phenyl chlorosilane can be divided into phenyl trichlorosilane, diphenyl dichlorosilane, methyl phenyl dichlorosilane, triphenyl chlorosilane and so on according to the position and number of substituting groups. Octaphenylcyclotetrasiloxane is an important organosilicon intermediate, which can be used in the synthesis of pharmaceutical intermediates, phenyl silicone oil, phenyl silicone resin, phenyl silicone rubber, etc. It can also be used as a modified intermediate of polyurethane resin, epoxy resin, acrylic resin, PP, PET, PE, etc., giving the new product high and low temperature resistance, radiation resistance, aging resistance and other properties. The synthesis of octaphenylcyclotetrasiloxane can be obtained from diphenyldichlorosilane by hydrolysis, drying and cracking. The purity and impurity content of diphenyldichlorosilane determine the quality of octaphenylcyclotetrasiloxane.
