Application: 1. It is used as an intermediate for pharmaceuticals and dyes. The pesticide Mitanjing produced with o-chlorobenzaldehyde can control mites on drought-resistant crops and fruit trees. O-chlorobenzaldehyde oxime can yield o-chlorobenzome oxime, and further chlorination can also yield o-chlorobenzome oxime. Both are drug intermediates.
2. O-chlorobenzaldehyde, also known as 2-chlorobenzaldehyde, is a raw material for the synthesis of the acaricide tetracarazine and can also be used to synthesize another new acaricide variety, flutenzine.
3.It is used as a galvanizing brightener, mainly used as a raw material for manufacturing o-chlorophenyl chloride, o-chlorophenyl chloride and sodium chlorophenazole penicillin and other pharmaceutical products.
