Molecular formula: KH₂PO₄

Molecular weight: 136.09

Properties: white crystal. Relative density is 2.338, and melting point is 252.6 centigrade. It is soluble in water and insoluble in ethanol, and water solution shows acidity. It melts and becomes transparent liquid at 400 centigrade. After refrigerating, it becomes opaque potassium metaphosphate. It is easy to deliquesce.
