Abstract
CAPAC-DDTS, (CAS No. 53880-86-7), DDTS is slow acting acceleratsuitable fnatural rubber, SBR, isoprene rubber rubber, cis-polybutadiene etc. It is mainly used together with TMTD, TMTM as secondary acceleratto improve the processing safety of rubbers.

Application
CAPAC-DDTS is a secondary ultra acceleratfgeneral purpose polymers (NR, SBR, IIR EPDM). It can be used as primary acceleratin some continuous cure applications as well as in latex.
- Furthermore CAPAC-DDTS is used as an antioxidant in adhesive systems.
- It is mainly used together with TMTD, TMTM as secondary acceleratto improve the processing safety of rubbers.
- CAPAC-DDTS is regulated fuse in articles in contact with food as specified under FDA 21 CFR 175.105, 178.2010, 175.300, 177.1210, 177.2600 under BfR Recommendation XXI, Categories 1-4 "Sonderkategorie".

Compounding Information
In NR latex, when used as a primary accelerat1 phr of CAPAC-DDTS with 2.5 phr sulfur is a good starting point.
In EPDM CAPAC-DDTS has the highest solubility of all dithiocarbamates, offering the lowest blooming effect.
