Product Features:
Ascorbyl palmitate is fat-soluble highly effective anti-oxidant and oxygen free radical scavenger, which has all the biological activities of vitamin C. It is assessed by the Committee on Food Additives of the World Health Organization (WHO) as a nutrient, efficient and safe food additive. It is the only antioxidant allowed to be used for infant food in China. It has the function as potent antioxidant, food (grease) color protection and vitamin C enhancement etc.
Range of application:
Food additives: antioxidants; color protection of easily oxidized natural pigments (such as chili red pigment, lycopene, carotene, lutein, etc.); use as a fat-soluble antioxidant, with a good effect on soybean oil, cottonseed oil, palm oil, unsaturated fats and hydrogenated vegetable oils; dairy baby products; for fried products, it can prevent lipid rancidity to extend the shelf life (such as instant noodles, potato chips, fried fish, grilled meat, etc.).
