Melamine Cyanurate , abbreviated as MCA, is a kind of nitrogenous flame-retardant lubricant. It is widely used as the flame retardant of engineering plastic (such as nylon-66), rubbers, synthetic resins (poly vinyl chloride, polystyrene, polyamide, polyoxymethymens ) and acrylic acid emulsion etc. MCA, no smoking and no residual toxicity, is the material of high level flame retardant and insulate product. As a flame retardant, it can be used directly or combined with other antimonite or borate. The effect is much better when combined with other retardant and can meet the standard of UL94-V-0. meanwhile, MCA is a kind of lubricant. The combined lubricant effect and loading of sinter resistance are rather outstanding. Comparing with molybdenum disulfide, MCA is a better lubricant. And its price is only one third of molybdenum disulfide.
