Excess molar volumes at 298.15, 308.15, and 318.15 K, isothermal compressibilities at these temperatures and at 333.15 K, and excess molar Gibbs free energies from vapour-pressure measurements, have been determined for (1-bromobutane + benzene). A vibrating-tube densimeter, a direct-measurement piezometer, and a dynamical ebulliometer have been used, respectively. The values obtained for VmE, κT, and GmE show practically ideal behaviour for (1-bromobutane + benzene).
