  • The sensitivity to SO2 of the SAW gas sensor with triethanolamine modified with boric acid
  • Add time:09/08/2019         Source:sciencedirect.com

The sensitivity to SO2 of the SAW gas sensor coated with triethanolamine (TEA) modified with boric acid (H3BO3) (TEA and H3BO3 were mixed with a mole ratio 3:1) has been investigated. A better stability of the modified TEA film compared with that of TEA film was observed. Both the steady response Δf and the transient response (Δf/Δt)max varied linearly with the concentration of SO2 (0.5–8 ppm). Suitable sensitivity, fast response, good recovery, and reproducibility were found for the SAW SO2 sensor. The effect of H3BO3 on the sensitivity to SO2 of the SAW gas sensor is discussed.
