 1-Naphthoyl chloride , its cas register number 879-18-5. It also can be called 1-Naphthalenecarbonyl chloride ; 1-(Chlorocarbonyl)naphthalene ;1-Naphthoic acid chloride ; and alpha-Naphthoyl chloride . Its extinguishing agents is foam ,carbon dioxide, and sand.
 1-Naphthoyl chloride (CAS NO.879-18-5) could be stable under normal temperatures and pressures. It should avoid the condition like exposure to moist air or water. It is not compatible with strong oxidizing agents, strong bases.  And also prevent it to broken down into hazardous decomposition products: Hydrogen chloride, carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide. However, its hazardous polymerization has not been reported.
