Preparation: this chemical can be prepared by benzene-1,2-diol and 1-bromo-decane at the temperature of 120 ºC. This reaction will need reagent potassium and solvent tetralkylammonium salt with the reaction time of 2 hours. This reaction will also need catalyst AlCl3. The yield is about 81%.
