Uses of Benzene,4-isothiocyanato-1,2-dimethyl-: it can be used to produce 5-(2,6-dimethyl-phenoxymethyl)-4-(3,4-dimethyl-phenyl)-4H-[1,2,4]triazole-3-thiol by heating. This reaction will need reagent 8 percent sodium hydroxide with reaction time of 5 hours. The yield is about 90%.
