EDROPHONIUM CHLORIDE Uses

  Edrophonium chloride (CAS NO.116-38-1) prevents breakdown of the neurotransmitter acetylcholine and acts by competitively inhibiting the enzyme acetylcholinesterase, mainly at the neuromuscular junction.It is used to differentiate myasthenic crisis from cholinergic crisis.
