L-Homoserine hydrochloride Specification

     L-Homoserine hydrochloride, with CAS no: 196950-52-4, is also known as the Butanoicacid, 3-amino-4-hydroxy-, hydrochloride .

     The production method of this chemical is as below: First dissolve the L-methionine in hydroalcoholic or water-ester dissolvant, with the ratio of hydroalcohol and hydroester is 10-5:1. The concentration of L-methionine in dissolvant is 10~50mmol/100mL; Secondly, under the heat conditon, drip the the 20-90 mmol chlorine-containing organic carboxylate into the above dissolvant till it finish its chemical reaction. Thirdly, cool the above reaction mixture until it gets room temperature and then extract and wash the organic solvent for one time and remove the solvent in water phase under reduced pressure, in order to get the solid crude product. Finally, recrystallize the solid and then you could get the pure white crystal solid L-homoserine hydrochloride.

     You could also convert the chemical data into the molecular structure by using the following chainings:
SMILES:
C(CO)[C@@H](C(=O)O)N.Cl
InChI:
InChI=1/C4H9NO3.ClH/c5-3(1-2-6)4(7)8;/h3,6H,1-2,5H2,(H,7,8);1H/t3-;/m0./s1
