Sodium antimonate Specification
The Sodium antimonate, also known as Antimonate (SbO31-), sodium (1:1), is an organic compound with the formula NaO3Sb. It belongs to the product category of Inorganics. The substance should be sealed and stored in dry and well-ventilated place.
Preparation: the antimony slab is crashed by sodium nitrate and mixed with it. The reaction mixture is heated in reacting furnace with the ventilation of air. Finally, the coarse sodium antimonate is filtered, dried and shattered and then you can gain the product.
Uses of Sodium antimonate: this substanct can be used as opaque padding and opacifier of enamel. In addition, it is used as clarify agent of glass. Meanwhile, it is also used as flame retardant synergist.
