Preparation of (1-Aminobutyl)phosphonic acid: It can be obtained by (1-benzyloxycarbonylamino-butyl)-phosphonic acid diethyl ester. This reaction needs reagent cc. hydrochloric acid by heating. The reaction time is 20 hours. The yield is 75%. 

Uses of (1-Aminobutyl)phosphonic acid: It can react with 1-nitro-9-phenoxy-acridine to get [1-(1-nitro-acridin-9-ylamino)-butyl]-phosphonic acid. This reaction needs reagent phenol at temperature of 100 °C. The reaction time is 60 min. The yield is 96%.
