2-Acetamidophenol Uses

2′-HYDROXYACETANILIDE(614-80-2) can be used in organic synthesis, the pharmaceutical industry (anti-tumor drug pyrimidine intermediates of benzene mustard), also be used as a hydrogen peroxide stabilizer.

2-Acetamidophenol Production

O-amino phenol, acetic acid and acetic anhydride mix (untill the crystallization occurs), and then the mixture is heated directly on the fire untill all dissolved, stop heating.The mixture was cooling, washed with water,and filtered.The product is derived by recrystallized from ethano at 70 ~ 80 ℃ .
