Production method of this chemical: The 2-Propenamide, N,N-diethyl- could be obtained by the reactants of diethylamine, ethyne, ethene, carbon monoxide. This reaction needs the solvent of toluene. The yield is 73 %. In addition, this reaction should be taken for 3 hours at the temperature of 60 °C.

Uses of this chemical: The 2-Propenamide, N,N-diethyl- could react with benzenesulfinic acid; sodium salt, and obtain the 3-benzenesulfonyl-N,N-diethyl-propionamide. This reaction needs the reagent of AcOH, and the solvent of H2O. The yield is 100 %. In addition, this reaction should be taken for 8 hours. The other condition is heating.
