The Acetic-1-14C acid,1,1'-anhydride with CAS registry number of 2742-27-0 is also known as Acetic-1-14C anhydride and Acetic-1-14C acid, anhydride (9CI). In addition, the formula is C4H6O3 and the molecular weight is 106.12.
Uses of Acetic-1-14C acid,1,1'-anhydride: it is used to produce (1-(14)C-acetyl)-2-acetoxyphenyl methyl sulfide by reaction with 2-methylsulfanyl-phenol. The reaction occurs with reagent pyridine and solvent CH2Cl2 at ambient temperature. The yield is about 35%.
