Preparation: 10 g bismuth metal which are gradually added into 20 mL nitric acid are completely dissolved. After that, add 15 mL sulfuric acid to the solution, then colorless precipitations are generated when heated and concentrated. The intermediate products are heated further at the temperature of 250-300 °C and then evaporate to dry untill the final weight no longer reduces.
