Preparation of Acetamide,N-[4-(acetyloxy)phenyl]: this chemical can be prepared by Acetic acid anhydride and 4-Amino-phenol.



This reaction needs reagent Et3N and solvent CH2Cl2 at temperature of 0 °C. The reaction time is 4 hours. The yield is 87 %.

Uses of Acetamide,N-[4-(acetyloxy)phenyl]: it is used to produce other chemicals. For example, it is used to produce 1-(5-Acetylamino-2-hydroxy-phenyl)-ethanone.
 



The reaction occurs with reagent AlCl3 and other condition of heating.
