Etazolate Specification

Etazolate , with its cas register number 51022-77-6, its IUPAC Name is Ethyl 1-ethyl-4-(2-propan-2-ylidenehydrazinyl)pyrazolo[3,4-b]pyridine-5-carboxylate . It also can be called as Etazolato ; Etazolatum ; 1H-Pyrazolo(3,4-b)pyridine-5-carboxylic acid, 1-ethyl-4-((1-methylethylidene)hydrazino)-, ethyl ester ; Etazolate hydrochloride and so on. Etazolate acts as an anxiolytic, which is a pyrazolopyridine derivative drug. It is also acting as an adenosine antagonist, a subtype-selective GABAA receptor partial agonist, and a phosphodiesterase inhibitor selective for the PDE4 subtype. And Etazolate belongs to product categories such as All Inhibitors; Inhibitors; Intermediates & Fine Chemicals.

Etazolate is a phosphodiesterase 4 (PDE4) inhibitor and GABAA receptor modulator that also stimulates alpha-secretase activity and neurotrophic soluble amyloid precursor protein (sAPPalpha) production, currently developed as a possible Alzheimer's disease therapeutic.  Besides, Etazolate is off-white solid and souble in water which solutions should be freshly prepared. Due to Etazolate is irritating to eyes, respiratory system and skin, we should wear suitable protective clothing in case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice.
