Gelclair Uses
Gelclair (CAS No.509150-79-2) has so many uses,as following:
1. It can be used in the management of the painful symptoms of oral mucositis usually caused by radiotherapy or chemotherapy treatment for cancer but can also be caused by medication, disease, oral surgery, stress, traumatic ulcers caused by dental braces and dentures and ageing.
2. Gelclair can be used by patients of all ages. Gelclair is usually used 3 times a day or as needed. It is usually diluted with water and rinsed around the mouth. It can be used undiluted where no water is available, applied directly.
3. Gelclair does not numb the mouth and can be used in conjunction with other treatment options for managing oral mucositis, including antibacterial mouthwashes and painkillers.
