HEXANENITRILE Uses

Hexanenitrile (CAS NO.628-73-9) is used as organic intermediates.

HEXANENITRILE Production

It derived from now under amide reaction with thionyl chloride.Working with the new acetamide steamed back reaction of thionyl chloride 1h.When hydrogen chloride is no longer a sharp escape, it will be the reaction solution at atmospheric pressure steam addition to an excessive amount of thionyl chloride.Released after cooling, adding anhydrous ether extraction. In addition to taking steam ether, ether extract, obtained products distillation, collecting 161-163 ℃ distillate, the yield was 86%.
